Oppportunities to serve Y360 initiatives locally at our Colorado Springs location and from anywhere in the world!

Staff

Staff positions at Y360 require applicants to :

  • be open and adjust well to change
  • be individuals that are life-giving & simply a joy to be around
  • be teachable and team players
  • be initiative takers and dependable
  • be natural champions of Y360 and be contributors to the success of the team & ministry
  • have completed a YWAM Discipleship Training School & have a good understanding of YWAM values.

Funding : Staff are encouraged to have personal funding sources, but are expected to work closely together with Y360’s fund development efforts, to help sustain both personal life and ministry initiatives. However non-US staff or volunteers may have unique contracts/arrangements with Y360, based on US visa stipulations.

Staff Opportunities

• SOCIAL MEDIA

Responsibilities:
 use social media tools to promote Y360, inform, create awareness and invite people to engage with Y360
Requirements : Must naturally be a good social networker with solid understanding of how social media works, with a willingness to adapt, learn, be flexible and adjust to new situations and changes.

• MEDIA STAFF

Responsibilities:
 web (design and/or programming) / video production / graphic & print design
Requirements : Must have prior training and experience in web (design and/or programming), video production, graphic design and savvy with Apple Mac systems, knowledgeable with software and hardware etc. Must display natural creativity and have a portfolio of work previously done to be considered. Adaptable, teachable and be willing to take initiative on creative projects, come up with creative solutions to communication problems and display ability to follow through on ideas and solutions.

• FUND DEVELOPER

Responsibilities:
 Work on donor relations, grant writing and raising funds for the ministry
Requirements : Must have experience in fund-raising, grant writing, ministry promotion / marketing and donor relations.

• PROMOTION / MARKETING

Responsibilities:
 Work on actively promoting the ministry and creating awareness of Y360 initiatives, opportunities and needs
Requirements : Must be a natural promoter, networker, outgoing, with an ability to convince and sell.

• ADMIN / OPERATIONS

Responsibilities:
 use natural administrative and management skills to facilitate smooth operations at Y360
Requirements : Good administrative and operations skills, must be computer and systems savvy, with a willingness to adapt, learn, and be flexible and open to change and adjust to new situations.

• ACCOUNTS / BOOKKEEPING

Responsibilities:
 Bookkeeping & Accounts
Requirements: Accounting skills (with at least 2 years of US non-profit bookkeeping experience), must be savvy with computers, software and donation systems, must have excellent knowledge of Quickbooks & online banking software, with willingness to be flexible and open to changes, and adjust to new situations.

Volunteers

Volunteer positions at Y360 require applicants to :

Funding : Volunteers are expected to have their own personal funding completely covered.

Volunteer Needs

• Y360 Online Store – Open Volunteer position

Volunteer needed to help distribute our discipleship materials and for weekday Order Fulfillment responsibility.
Commitment required : Upto 3 hours per day, 3-5 days a week

Responsibilities:
 Work on our order fulfillment systems, packaging, shipping, duplication of DVDs etc.
Requirements: Should be computer and internet technology savvy. Ability to learn simple online systems and pay attention to detail.

• Café 360 – Open Volunteer positions

Y360 is producing Café 360, a 12-episode educational and evangelistic TV series for youth in Africa. Each episode is 30-minutes long and comprised of four segments: the hosts’ segment in the café, a parable (short enacted story), a personal testimonial, and an artistic segment (short documentary or music video). More details on the show can be found at cafe360.tv

We urgently need volunteer staff/crew in the following capacities:

• Screenplay writers (x2)

Responsibilities:
 Work under the show’s Executive Producer to develop each episode’s theme into a screenplay for the hosts’ segment and the parable.
Requirements: 
Good writing skills including idea generation and research, character development, and dialogue. Knowledge and skill in writing for the screen and for a young international audience. Good understanding of the screenplay format and ability to write every aspect of a script, from dialogue and to stage directions. Ability to collaborate. Some knowledge of screenplay writing software is a plus.

• Camera operator (x2)

Responsibilities:
 Work under the show’s Director / Producer to film the different segments of Café 360 in both studio and on location filming situations.
Requirements:
 Good working knowledge of the video camera and its operation (camcorder and DSLR), mastery of camera moves and shot composition.

• Video editor (x1)

Responsibilities:
 Work under the show’s Director / Producer to edit the different segments of a Café 360 episode.
Requirements: 
Good understanding of the principles of narrative and documentary editing. Good working knowledge of Final Cut Pro X. Some knowledge of After Effects, Apple Motion, and Adobe Audition is a plus.

• Audio technician (x1)

Responsibilities:
 Work under the show’s Director / Producer to capture and record audio from live sound on all Café 360’s sets.
Requirements:
 Good working knowledge of sound, sound design, room acoustics, audio cables, and audio recording gear (including Digital Audio recorders and different types of microphones). Some knowledge of audio post-production and audio post-production software is a plus.

• Gaffer (x1)

Responsibilities: Work under the show Director / Producer to design and setup the lighting for each scene of Café 360.
Requirements: 
Good understanding and knowledge of light types, lighting principles, techniques, and gear. Creativity and problem solving skills in designing lighting plans.

NOTE to Café 360 Applicants :

Commitment length requested: minimum 6 months. Working days are typically Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Working days and hours during production phase will vary based on production needs.
